Design
The 2024 GX marks a significant departure from its predecessor, sporting a square-body profile with a strong horizontal design theme. When viewed from the front, the all-new GX adheres to the Lexus spindle body concept, boasting a fresh, assertive design that enhances its off-road capabilities. To achieve a grounded and stable appearance, the designers crafted a taut body with a wide track and flared fenders, extending the front pillar base towards the rear. This results in an overall width increase of 3.74 inches (4.52 inches for the Overtrail version) compared to the previous-generation GX.
Furthermore, the Premium Triple Beam LED headlights and grille opening have been elevated to minimize the risk of encountering obstacles on the road. LED fog and cornering lights are also available to enhance visibility. The reduction of the front overhang by 0.78 inches contributes to improved clearance, and the seamless integration of the grille and headlamps characterizes the vehicle's commanding front presence.
